"Last spring I had the opportunity to go on my first missions’ trip. Leading up to the trip I had no idea how impactful and life changing the mere 10 days would be. I never had a huge burden for missions before the trip, I just knew I wanted to go. I saw a new side of love and humility on the faces of the people that surrounded me. Seeing little children who have lost so much, smile and run around with joy just from us being there changed my perspective. It gave me a new sense of hope that I was able to impact lives, but at the same time my heart was burdened by all the hurt and brokenness. Looking back months later, I am still learning new things from my trip and I am still realizing how much it changed my life."
